Choudrant – Shortly before 5:15 a.m., Louisiana State Police Troop F responded to a crash on I-20 just east Choudrant. The crash took the life of a man from Tallulah, LA.
The initial investigation revealed a 2014 Jeep Patriot, driven by 31-year-old Adam Poisso, was traveling eastbound on I-20. For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck several trees. Poisso, who was restrained, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A toxicology sample was obtained and will be submitted for analysis. The crash remains under investigation.
